Our Founder

I am a passionate healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience in academic and community hospitals, home and community care, long-term care and the private sector.

But I haven’t always been in healthcare. In fact, I began my career as an Engineer in the automotive space. My entire professional trajectory changed when SARS hit Canadian soil in 2003. This alarming experience catapulted me into a phase of self-reflection which ultimately uncovered a life-changing truth: I wasn’t fulfilled in my career, and I wanted to make a more significant impact in people’s lives. This led me to take a giant leap into healthcare, beginning with a Master’s in Health Science in Health Administration at the University of Toronto and an Admin Residency at the University Health Network. And I haven’t looked back since.

Before becoming the Lead Managing Partner of London Health Partners, I spent:

• Six years at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto as Director of Process Redesign, Performance and Decision Support

• Four years at London Health Sciences Centre as Director of Quality, Patient Safety & Patient Experience

• Six years at Bluewater Health as VP of Operations

• Three years at Extendicare as VP of Operations

Within each of these roles, I transformed organizational cultures, improved patient flow, and developed highly effective and productive clinical and support programs through change management, collaborative engagement and lean principles.

I believe in building relationships, capacity and employee confidence for years to come. I empower people to reach their full potential in their positions and foster team-oriented cultures from the ground up. I lead in a positive way, living and working by the mantra that we can achieve exceptional results while improving the well-being of our teams.
